From blank page to replies in one evening
- 1
Design it in the Studio
Pick an occasion and a starting style, then type your names, dates and venues. The preview beside you updates as you go, opening and all.
- 2
Choose your link and publish
Claim invitara.app/your-names and publish. You get a private edit link that opens your dashboard. Keep it safe: it is the only key.
- 3
Share it and watch replies arrive
Send the link on WhatsApp, by email or as a QR code. Every RSVP shows up in your dashboard the moment a guest sends it.
Everything a guest needs, nothing they have to download
Invitations open in any phone browser. No app, no login, no squinting at a scanned card.
20 ways to open
The first thing guests do is play. Break a seal, scratch the foil, pop the balloons, ring the bell. Each occasion has openings made for it, with sound.
Film Title, Wax-Seal Envelope, Palace Doors, Foil Scratch, Sliding Letter, Stage Curtain, Pop the Balloons, Unwrap the Gift, Blow the Candles, Ring the Doorbell, Turn the Key, Take the Lift, Cut the Ribbon, Ring Box, Interlocking Rings, Lift the Veil, Stork Delivery, Balloon Box, Crib Mobile, Bangle Curtain
Your link, your preview
Pick invitara.app/your-names, and your cover photo, names and date unfold into a preview card when the link is pasted into WhatsApp.
For weddings
Guest groups: one wedding, five guest lists
Make up to five groups, tick the functions each one is invited to, and send every group its own link. Guests only see, and only reply to, their own events. Your headcounts stay accurate per function.
| Group link | Haldi | Mehndi | Sangeet | Pheras | Reception |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Family | |||||
| Friends | |||||
| Office |
An RSVP form you shape
Ask for headcount, the events they will attend, meal preferences or a song request. Only what you need.
Music on opening
A shehnai, a lullaby or the first song of the night starts as the invitation opens.
Itinerary with maps
Every event carries its time, venue, dress code and a one-tap Google Maps link.
A QR code
Print it on a few paper cards for elders, or on a sign at the venue gate.
Add to calendar
Guests save each event to their own calendar, with the address filled in.
Updates under the bell
Post a change once. It appears under the bell on every guest’s invitation.
The guest list that keeps itself
Your dashboard sits behind a private edit link. No account, no password. Open it from any phone and you can see who is coming, to which events, and with how many.
- Search and filter every reply
- Possible duplicates flagged for you
- Headcounts for each event
- Export to CSV for caterers and hotels
- Post updates, edit live, or take it offline

Printed cards, or a link that does the work
Printed cards are lovely to keep. For everything else, here is how they compare.
| Aspect | Printed cards | Invitara |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Printing, boxes and delivery | Free to design and publish |
| Reaching guests | Days or weeks, by hand and courier | Seconds, by link |
| The first moment | An envelope on the table | An opening they tap through, with music |
| Tracking RSVPs | Phone calls and a notebook | Every reply in your dashboard, counted |
| Different events per guest | A separate print run for each set | Up to five guest groups, each with its own link |
| Changes after sending | Reprint, or call everyone | Edit live and post an update |
| Sharing on WhatsApp | A photo of the card | A link with your own preview image |
| Directions | An address to type into maps | A map link on every event |
| Paper waste | Cards, inserts, envelopes, boxes | None |
What hosts tell us afterwards
“My grandmother’s friends in Kochi and my college gang in Delhi got different links, and each saw only what they were invited to. Not one person asked me whether the Mehndi was for them.”
“Ira made me replay the balloon pop four times before I sent it. Half the class replied within an hour, and for once I knew exactly how much cake to order.”
“We moved lunch by an hour two days before the puja. One update, and it was on everyone’s phone. My father still can’t believe nobody had to be called.”
Illustrative stories from sample hosts.

Invitara turns your invitation into a small website. Guests open it with an animated moment, such as breaking a wax seal or ringing a doorbell, then find your photos, music, schedule, directions and an RSVP form. You manage everything from a private dashboard.
Weddings, birthdays, housewarmings, engagements and baby showers, each with its own openings, templates and starting styles. Anniversaries are coming soon.
You choose it when you publish, in the form invitara.app/your-names, for example invitara.app/aanya-weds-rehan. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. If a name is taken, the Studio tells you straight away so you can try another.
Yes, for weddings. Create up to five guest groups, choose which events each group can see, and send each group its own link. A guest on the Reception link never sees the Haldi.
Yes. Open your private edit link, change anything, and guests see it the next time they open the invitation. The link itself stays the same. For bigger changes, post an update so it appears under the bell.
Until seven days after your last event. After that the invitation is taken offline and its details, photos and replies are deleted. Export your replies as a CSV before then if you would like a copy.
No. Share the link with as many people as you like, and every reply is counted.
Replies go to your dashboard, which lives at your private edit link. There is no account and no password, so anyone with that link can manage the invitation. Keep it to yourself and any co-host. We never sell guest details or use them for marketing.
Yes. Designing, publishing and collecting replies are all free. There is nothing to pay at any step.
Your guests are one link away
Open the Studio, type your names and watch the invitation come together beside you. Publishing is free.
